Do I need a Monthly Home Maintenance Service?

What is the Service?

In a nutshell, Condo Living At Home Services manages your home so you do not have to. We accomplish that though a monthly maintenance visit, at which time our technicians go through a comprehensive checklist of basic monthly maintenance needs as well as our seasonal services. Condo Living At Home offers three different packages, Platinum, Gold, Silver each unique to itself, but all packages include the comprehensive core maintenance service and minor “honey do” needs of the home.

How much does it Cost?

Estimates are FREE!! The final price is based on what package you choose Platinum, Gold, Silver or customized as well as size, complexity and a careful maintenance evaluation of the home.

What happens during the monthly maintenance visit?

Each month our technicians complete a thorough inspection of the home and conduct the basic maintenance tasks required to keep the house in good shape. Each month they change light bulbs and furnace filters, touch up caulking, lubricate doors, check and clear drains, inspect weather stripping and numerous other tasks as part of an extensive maintenance checklist. They also complete seasonal items that are done once or twice a year such as power washing your house, filling cracks as needed in the driveway or sidewalks on your property, changing batteries in smoke or carbon monoxide filters. Once the maintenance is complete, they spend time on “honey do” repairs such as hanging pictures or other small task requested by the homeowner.

How long does the monthly visit last?

Our monthly maintenance appointments range from about 4 hours long up to a full day, depending on the size of the home. About half of the visit is spent completing the maintenance checklist, and the other half is dedicated to completing minor repairs and seasonal type projects. 

Who conducts my maintenance appointments?

We have skilled technicians who conduct the monthly maintenance appointments. Once you sign on with us, we will assign a technician and pick a monthly time slot based on your preference. The same technician will come out each month on the same day (e.g., the third Wednesday of the month) at the same time.

Do I need to be home for my appointment?

You do not need to be home during your monthly maintenance appointment. In fact, most customers will provide us with keys or garage codes so that we can get in when they are not home. This allows us to deal with problems without disrupting your busy schedule.
Are larger repairs included in the monthly maintenance visit?
Most repairs that take 30 minutes or less to complete are included in the basic monthly maintenance cost. For larger projects, we will have our in-house service team or appropriate service partners provide an estimate for your approval prior to doing the work. One of goals at Condo Living At Home is to act as your trusted advisor on all matters concerning the maintenance of your home.

Do you get multiple bids for larger projects?

We try to balance the need to offer competitive pricing with our goal of providing high end results. For that reason, we work with a pool of pre-screened and qualified partners on all project work. Because we work with them regularly, they give us preferred pricing, which allows us to manage the work for you while still remaining competitive. We will not be the cheapest provider around, but we will take the entire burden of the project off of your shoulders and guarantee the quality of the work.


How do I pay for the Service?

The service is monthly based on an annual agreement. Payment is monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or yearly. If there should be a need for additional services at the request of the owner, we will invoice separately from the monthly service if Condo Living at Home provides the work.


What if I decide after a few months that the service is not for me? Am I stuck for the rest of the year?

While we are confident that you will love the service, we understand that life happens and that you might need to terminate the service before the contract is up. While we will be sorry to see you go, we certainly will not hold you to the contract if the service no longer works for you. We do ask that you give us notice of one month of such change
